Hi everyone. I never thought I would be here making a GoFundMe, but I have no options left. My girls and I are truly at risk of having everything shut off and taken away from us. I had emergency surgery on July 8th and was fired from my job for calling out to go to the emergency room. I’m now supposed to recover for 6 weeks, which I do not have the time for.

I have bills to pay, groceries to purchase, and kids to keep a roof over their heads. I’m struggling to make ends meet. I have filed everything with the state of NC, but unfortunately, they do not rush any applications and I have to wait like everyone else. I only put the amount I did because GoFundMe said that’s what people put in my situation. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I don’t want to lose everything my babies and I have worked for the past 6 years of living in Wilmington. I don’t want their life turned upside down. I’m scared, alone, and afraid of what’s coming next. If anyone can help, I will be so eternally grateful.

UPDATE:

On July 14th, I was readmitted to the hospital with a post-procedural hematoma. They kept me for 3 days and I had a drain line put into my abdomen. This extends my recovery by another 2 weeks. Totaling now 8 weeks to recovery fully. We need to find a place to live by Sept 1st and manage to survive between now and then. I have been and will continue to apply to any and all work from home jobs, as I cannot drive for another 3 weeks. Every single donation gets us one step away from this horrible time and back to be stable and moving forward.
