A fire devastated my friend's apartment, she and several other families lost everything, and nothing was salvageable.

Families have been left homeless or forced to leave the area and find shelter elsewhere. As her friends, we want to start a fundraiser for her and her children.

Due to the fire, her children were unable to start school. She lost all the medical equipment that she needs day to day including her electric wheelchair which was her main

source of transportation. A little bit can go a long way to help. Anything and everything is helpful. Shanita and her children currently don't have a steady place to live, if anyone would help with this, it would be very much appreciated.

Thank you, everyone, for any help. She will never tell anyone this but during the fire, my friend is always that person who helps others and never ask for help, she was comforting some of the other families rather than focusing on what just happened to her. This is just the kind of person she is.

The funds will be used to provide any medical equipment, supplies for the children, food and anything that is needed. Thank you again.
