My name is Khalid Sadiq and I live in the UK.

I am fundraising to support my close friend Ehab Wafi, who is currently in Khan Younis, Gaza, and whose family has been devastated by the ongoing war.

Before the conflict, Ehab ran his late father’s pharmacy, which allowed him to support not only his own children, but also his elderly parents, his siblings who are registered blind, and their children. That pharmacy was his family’s lifeline.

Today, the pharmacy has been completely destroyed, and Ehab’s parents did not survive the war. Overnight, his family lost both their loved ones and their only source of income.

Blind siblings who require additional care and support

Food in Gaza is extremely scarce, and what little is available is being sold at exorbitant prices. Aid entering Gaza is severely restricted, leaving families like Ehab’s struggling to meet even their most basic needs. Winter has made conditions even harder, with urgent needs for warm clothing, food, and essential supplies.

Every donation will go towards:

Food and clean water

Winter clothing and essentials

Medical and daily care for blind family members

Basic survival costs for the entire household

I will be collecting the donations on Ehab’s behalf and transferring them directly to him so he can use the funds immediately where they are needed most.
