My friend Daniel needs our help.

My dear, dear friend Daniel Lara is in the hospital from a stab wound. He and a friend walked in on a robbery, and when his friend dialed the police the two men ran, but one of them pulled out a knife and stabbed  Daniel in the stomach on the way out.

Daniel had two surgeries on his intestines in the first 24 hours. He's going to be unable to work for 2-3 months. He is the kindest most generous, loving person.  It's horrifying that this happened to him. He is still in the hospital recovering from the surgeries. 

Because he can't work for two to three months, and will continue to be in the hospital for a while, his need for financial support is great. I know from having a medical emergency just three months ago this can be devastating, and I was in Mexico. He's in the states where the costs are devastating. I hope you can help. He's been a friend for decades and my heart is breaking to see this loving, hardworking, wonderful friend in this situation. All donations are greatly appreciated however small or large.
