Hi, my name is Sarah Touhey, and I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my friend Mohammed H. A. Alnahhal and his family who are currently trapped and suffering inside of the Gaza Strip. Evacuation into Egypt was their initial goal, but their priorities have since shifted to immediate food relief as they face starvation by Israel.

They are chronically scared, painfully hungry, and desperately praying to survive as the Israeli occupation indiscriminately bombs the entire Gaza Strip and blocks humanitarian aid. Prices of staple foods such as bags of flour have recently risen to being hundreds of dollars, which is a starvation sentence for anyone in Gaza without significant support via donations. Mohammed’s family, including his two brothers, sister in-law, mother, and father, sister, nieces, nephews under the age of 3, and brother-in-law have been left completely defenseless in this brutal genocide. The full list of names of Mohammed’s family include: Mahmoud H. A. Alnahhal (brother), Hammad A. H. Alnahhal (father), Ahmed H. A. Alnahhal (brother), Raeda J. H. Alnahhal (mother), and Dalia Rami Jamil Madi (sister in-law), Dina H. A. Alnahhal (sister), Mohammed J. A. Alnahhal (brother in law), Jannah Alnahhal (niece), Joanne Alnahhal (niece), and Rayyan Alnahhal (nephew).

Mohammed is a gentle soul who wants to enjoy a peaceful life and ensure safety for his family just as we all do. I plead with you to see his humanity during this genocide and take action, no matter how small. Every amount helps and is greatly appreciated! Please save my friend’s life.
