I am writing to you from the heart of the displacement camps in Gaza. Our home was destroyed in this devastating war, and my family—my elderly parents, brother, sister, wife, and my two young children, Yahya and Layal—are now living in a fragile tent. ​We are seeking to raise 10,000 Euros to purchase a caravan (mobile shelter). This is not a luxury, but a necessity to provide warmth and dignity for my children and protect my elderly parents from the harsh winter. ​Your support will help us secure a safe, warm space until we can one day rebuild our home. A message from the organizer: I have created this fundraiser for my friend Abo and his family in Jabalia, North Gaza. They are currently facing forced starvation, displacement, bombs and snipers due to Israel’s ongoing genocide against the Palestinians! Abo is a good man who lived a normal life as a pharmacist before October 2023. He has a wife and two twin children, Yahya and Layal. His parents and his two siblings are living nearby in this desolate refugee camp, having gotten used to the horrible sound of nearby explosions and drone attacks. The so-called “ceasefire” has done little to nothing to actively improve their living conditions.
