Hello everyone, my name is Hannah. I’m making this for my Tiktok followers and anyone else who finds this and wants to help.
Here’s my story:
On the morning of Thanksgiving 2023, I unexpectedly lost my dad to cardiac arrest due to congestive heart failure. In that moment, my world fell apart. A few hours later my fiancé and I were on our way to Thanksgiving dinner when someone in a Ford truck ran a stop sign and caused a wreck. Our only car, a little Toyota, was destroyed.
We were injured, but not horribly.
Now, recovering from the loss of my dad and the loss of our car, we’re struggling more than we’ve ever struggled before. Insurance didn’t pay us nearly enough to find another car, and because of that, we haven’t been able to work for 3 months. My phone was shut off 2 months ago because I couldn’t pay the bill, and now we’re on the verge of losing everything.
Our hearts are still broken from the loss we suffered, and all of this extra financial stress is making it impossible to fully recover.
We’re a hardworking, happy family from a small town in Alabama.
I hate asking for help, it’s one of my least favorite things in the world, but we can no longer survive like this. We’re down to the wire now and have run out of options to stay afloat.
The goal I have set is for a car, all bills (utilities, medical), getting my phone back, and a couple months of rent. Thank you so much for reading.
