Remembering Scott Huffman

I just found out on Monday evening that my father has leukemia..I'm an only child and my dad is my entire world..he is my rock, my protector, my everything. My parents moved out to Utah about 3 yrs ago as it was always their dream to relocate from Maryland because of their love for the outdoors. I'm asking + praying for help to fund a flight to be with him while he's in the hospital and to obviously help with the tremendous medical bills that are already piling up.  He was lifeflighted from St George, UT, to Salt Lake City to start his treatment there immediately. Just the flight itself is over 4k after insurance deductions. He begins chemo today.  Their home is 5 hours away so my mom is going to have to balance a 10 hour round trip every visit and continue to work during this whole ordeal.  I desperately need to get out there to be there in person for them both, and I want to try and help even a percentage of the financial hardships this will cause. Obviously in this situation, money is super important but if I can help take ANY burden off their shoulders I want to. My father is the best man in my life, in the entire world.(I may be biased but I still stand by that statement). He worked for 30+ years at Jones Junction in Bel air, MD before moving out west. He's one of the best people you could ever know, and I cannot fathom a world without my Daddy. I'll have more answers in the next few days, we just know that it's extremely progressive and we're grateful that he's beginning chemo just 2 days after his diagnosis.  I apologize if this is a bit scatter brained, I am completely heartbroken and then some but I'm trying to stay strong..
