Hi!!

I'm reaching out with a heavy heart. My

family in Jamaica has lost so much after Hurricane Melissa, a

Category 5 storm that tore through the

island on October 28th, 2025.

The hurricane destroyed homes

ripped up power lines, and left entire

communities unrecognizable. They are

now struggling just to survive each

day. There's no electricity, no running

water, and food and drinking water are

running out. With the daily heat, even

finding a cold drink is nearly impossible.

The prices of basic necessities - rice, oil

soap - have tripled, and many can no

longer afford the essentials to get by.

Communication is difficult; the service is hard to get and very glitchy and many just stand outside the resorts to connect to the wifi. Gas is limited

too - people wait in line for hours just

to fill a few jugs.

My family's main source of income came

from fishing, but that too has been

wiped away. The beach where they

worked is gone. Boats are overturned

or stuck on rooftops, and most of their

fishing tools are damaged or lost. With

everything destroyed, they have no way

to earn an income or rebuild without

help.

Im raising funds to help my family buy

food, clean water, and basic supplies,

and to begin repairing what's left of

their home and fishing equipment. Every

donation- no matter the amount - will

go directly toward helping them recover

from this unimaginable disaster.

The road ahead is long, but every act of

kindness brings them one step closer

to stability and hope.

Jamaica is strong,

and so is my family – but right now, they

need your help to get back on their feet.
