Please help my family get through to the next month.

Hello, my name is Jerrica Kral. I am wife of this very handsome guy. I have been his wife for many years. He's my best friend and soul mate. On 10/18/24 my husband was on his ladder and he was all the way at the top, I'd say he was probably about 12 ft up total trimming a tree when the ladder gave way from under him and he along with the chainsaw fell all the way down. Unfortunately he didn't just fall, he fell onto his side over the bar of the bottom of the ladder. We called an ambulance immediately, but essentially he ended up with 6 broken ribs, one of which is broken in 3 different places, and a punctured deflated lung. Long story short, doctors are talking about putting in a plate to his ribs and inserting a chest tube to inflate his lung. I love him so much and I've never been more worried in my life. Thanks to Jesus christ, he will probably hopefully be ok but our financial status won't be. Just a week ago I applied for financial assistance through my local welfare office but nobody has gotten to it, and now it's even worse because my husband can no longer work. The doctor said to me that they can't put him on disability because "pain isn't a medical reason as to why you can't work". I promise word for word that's what they said. I just need some help paying my rent for the month of november. If anyone could help me, I could try so hard to even pay it back, I just need some time. I am doing everything I can, but we have 4 Littles at home and I am struggling. The fact that I am asking for help from complete strangers is new territory for me and I am so ashamed of myself. I am praying to Jesus that we make it through this without losing anything, but if anyone can please just help me get my rent paid I would truly appreciate it more than you'd ever know. Asking for help is hard when you know that there are people doing way worse off than you are, but im desperate because ive never had to do this alone.
