I’m heartbroken as I type this . My momma was killed last night (New Years Eve) by whom they presume to have been a drunk driver . My mother was on shift as a taxi driver keeping people safe , when a large SUV went into oncoming traffic and collided with my momma. My siblings and I are devastated , my family is broken , my heart has been ripped from my chest . I don’t know how to tell my babies that their best friend , their Meemaw is gone . We had no way to prepare for this , our mommy was supposed to be fine . She is the most loving and caring person I’ve ever met and you were blessed if you had the chance to know her . She was loved by so many people in the community and she equally cared about every person she met . We don’t have money put to the side to cover costs of everything , I don’t know how to even leave my bed , let alone go to work to pay my bills . I feel like time needs to freeze . We want to have a beautiful service for our momma , she deserves it more than anyone and we’d like to have some of her ashes buried with her momma .
