On Thursday, December 11th, our lives changed in the blink of an eye when my dad was detained by ICE while at work. He is currently being held at an ICE Detention Center in Florence, AZ. My family is heartbroken, and we are doing everything we can to bring him home where he belongs. My dad came to the United States in 1994 to give his wife and kids a better life. Since day one, he has worked tirelessly to provide for my two siblings and my mom, never once complaining about the challenges he faced.

In addition to the emotional toll, my dad also suffers from rheumatoid arthritis and needs weekly injections to manage his pain and inflammation. Being detained has made it difficult for him to access the medical care he needs. We are trying to raise money to afford an immigration lawyer, cover court fees, and handle any other expenses that come our way during this difficult time.
