I am Samar Mohammed , I am 28 years Mother of 3 daughters
I lived through days I never imagined I'd see in my life. The war began suddenly, and the peace we knew was replaced by the sounds of explosions and endless fear. We lived in a simple house, but it was filled with security and memories, until we were forced to leave it and flee in search of a safer place. We left carrying what little we could, leaving behind everything we had built over many years. The roads were crowded with families carrying their children and bags, each person looking to the future with anxiety and uncertainty. In our displacement camp, we faced a harsh reality. There wasn't enough food or water, and we spent long hours waiting for aid. We lived through days of hunger and poverty, trying to share what little we had so that no one would go to bed hungry. Despite all this suffering, hope remained in our hearts. I learned that a person may lose their home and possessions, but if they hold onto hope and willpower, they will not lose themselves. I still dream of the day I will return to my home and live a peaceful life far from the sounds of war and fear. My story is not just a personal one; it is the story of thousands of families who have suffered displacement, war, poverty, and hunger, and who are still waiting for a chance to begin a new life in safety and peace.
