UPDATE - I took Charlie to Moores Orthopaedic clinic today in Basingstoke to discuss ongoing plans. Charlie had more x-rays and the vet confirmed his elbow and knee joints are ok. We now have a date for his left hip replacement.. 12th May. We have drained every bit of money we have, plus the very kind donations from the go fund me so far but we are still £500 short. Please help and share if you can ❤️

This is Charlie. We got him off a friend of a friend in the family. We instantly found him to have problems with his rear end and difficulty walking and standing up. We were not told about this. We took him to the PDSA for Xrays which has confirmed his has severe hip dysplasia in both hips, worse in the left. This will get worse if untreated.

Charlie is only 8 months old and this is his 4th home. He has our heart and a place in our home. We could not get him insured as this is a pre-existing condition and we cannot afford the full amount for the operation so really need some help. If we can get his left hip replaced, we have a much better chance of managing the right conservatively. Without this op, he will get worse and when the pain becomes unmanageable, we will need to do the unthinkable. Please help if you can ❤️
