Recently Bear has fallen ill (please see my latest video on tiktok Bearsskills to listen to the Vet describing all) a couple weeks ago when he accidentally bumped his head. He had a bit of a swollen face. We took him to the vet to ensure all was good and he had an xray and blood tests done. We got some antibiotics and pain killers to nurse him back to health with lots of rest and love. Full audio video below. (We recorded this audio so we didn't miss anything. Decisions like these need serious consideration and full understanding as pet owners and animal lovers.. We have now used the audio to show full transparency of our cause)

1 week later he was throwing up, being sad and passing blood in his bowl movements. After another vet visit and blood results our vet has identified issues with his pancreas that is also causing his liver to not work the best. Bear has been in intensive care for the 3 days receiving his IV for hydration, anti-inflammatory medication, and antibiotics. We had one more blood test today with some promising results. The liver is showing signs of getting better which in turn will help the Albumin levels needed for his body to recover. 

We have been given 4 options. 

1. Come home and he probably will not survive. 

2. Stay the Vet another night continue his IV etc with testing in the morning. 

3. Stay and also give a plasma transfusion which will boost his Albumin levels and give his liver and blood system a boost. He will get a little sick however the Vet says this is the best option. 

4.Euthanasia the one word no pet owner wants to hear. 

. The vet sits bears chances of survival at 75% currently  however significant expenses are turning this into a financial live or die situation. We have almost exhausted all savings these last few weeks. We want to give Bear the best opportunity to live another 6+ years.

$1200 per night. 

24 hour stays at the vet. I may have many to go

$1000 in testing

$1000 for an ultrasound

$2000 per dose of plasma. 

Excess donations will be donated to our local Animal Rescue with videos on tiktok to follow.
