Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for support for my best friend, Alison, who recently experienced a devastating house fire.
In a tragic accident, her dog unintentionally turned on a stove burner, which quickly led to a fire that destroyed much of the kitchen and caused significant damage. Thankfully, no one was hurt — but the emotional and financial aftermath has been incredibly difficult.
Alison is one of the most thoughtful, kind, and selfless people I know. Seeing her go through something so traumatic breaks my heart. The damage has left her home temporarily unlivable, and while insurance will help with some costs, it won’t come close to covering everything — from temporary housing to replacing essentials and beginning to rebuild.
