Please help my daughter to stand up

I am a mother of five children, and my third daughter – Hailey Gao is lively, cute, and talented at dancing and singing. However, our lives took a tragic turn in January of 2022 when she lost consciousness in an accident and suffered severe cerebral ischemia and hypoxia. Thanks to the efforts of doctors, Hailey’s vital signs have stabilized, however the severe aftereffects of cerebral hypoxia are irreversible.

As you can imagine my husband has shouldered the heavy financial burden of our household while with the help of the two older children taken care of our two youngest, as I was focused supporting Hailey and our visits to medical institutions seeking different treatment plans. Through multiple surgeries, treatments, and rehabilitation, as well as the selfless efforts and love of our family, her condition has significantly improved.

When I talk to Hailey, she can understand, cry, and smile, but she cannot yet speak or walk. It breaks my heart so much that I long for my beloved Hailey to recover her liveliness. Doctors have diagnosed that the nerve damage in her brain is severe and recommended restorative nerve surgery, but the cost is beyond what our insurance can cover, leading our already financially challenged family to be in crisis. We have cut down on family expenses and sold valuables but still have a mountain to climb in order to achieve the financing required to provide Hailey the best possible quality of life.
