Three weeks ago, my daughter Niki’s fiancé took his own life. He was an incredible man and a loving father figure to her three young girls. Our family is still trying to process that loss and find our footing again.
Then, just one week after his funeral, tragedy struck again. My daughter was involved in an auto-pedestrian accident caused by a distracted driver. She suffered a broken neck, spine, nose, eye socket, teeth, shoulder blade, and ribs. She’s in a neck brace and faces a long recovery, including extensive dental and facial repair once she’s strong enough.
In just three weeks, she went from two incomes to none. She can’t work, can’t drive, and can’t care for her children on her own right now. The bills are piling up, and with the holidays coming, she’s heartbroken that she won’t be able to give her kids a Christmas this year.
We’re asking for help to cover her basic living expenses, medical costs, and anything that can make the holidays a little brighter for her girls. Every donation, share, or kind word means more than you can imagine.
Thank you for taking the time to read her story and for helping our family through this devastating time.
