My Daughter Kaydee is in desperate emergent need of a life saving procedure...

it all started a little over 10 months ago when she had a tooth infection, the dentist prescribed an antibiotic, when that didn’t work he prescribed not one but two more heavy antibiotics to try and get rid of it, after about five days into the antibiotic she started feeling really sick and was having chest pains And stomach pains a fever, fatigue and nausea, so she went into the emergency room.

They told her it was pneumonia and prescribed her yet another antibiotic, her symptoms only worsened she was having constant chest pains, was very nauseous constantly, dizzy and had horrible brain fog On top of the original symptoms , her esophagus had narrowed so she was unable to swallow anything without it getting stuck, she went in and had her esophagus dilated and had a colonoscopy and endoscopy done, they told her that her problems were all being caused by Gerd and reflux, she suffered for months and was in the emergency room at least 22 times trying to tell them something was very wrong, they kept sending her home and telling her it was just anxiety and heartburn...finally she demanded a stool sample and when it came back she was shocked, my daughter had been dealing with the deadly infectious disease called C. difficile for months untreated, C. difficile is caused from antibiotic use, they kill off the good gut bacteria and allow the bad bacteria to take over. 

she was sad but glad to have answers and finally be able to get treatment for what she was dealing with, little did we know it wasn’t that easy, she has been battling this infection to this day, she has failed 4 rounds of the super power treatment Vancomycin, 4 rounds of the antibiotic created specifically for c diff called dificid, and is now failing her third round of the combo of both of them together. And has officially been diagnosed with antibiotic resistant c diff. She is extremely sick she cannot eat anything without being in excruciating pain, her esophagus has narrowed again so she’s unable to take any meds that aren’t crushable..she’s on high dose zofran for constant nausea, her abdomen is very swollen, c diff causes horrible anxiety and brain fog, fevers, chills and what they call deadly diarrhea and because she’s had this infection in her colon so long she’s at extremely high risk for toxic megacolon which is also extremely deadly and can happen at anytime. 

Even her infectious disease doctor has told her he’s out of options, there is no other treatment for this awful infection except a fecal transplant, but thatwb, due to Covid the stool bank open biome is closed and Is no longer shipping any stool, and even her specialist was unable to open an emergency request, the only place currently doin fecal transplant that has there own in house stool bank is out of state, one is TX and one in MN.. this procedure Has a 98% success rate even with antibiotic resistant cases, this procedure is $9,111 plus she will need to travel there and stay at least one day, Unfortunately because she’s been off work unpaid for months from Being sick she’s on Medicaid and not only does mayo clinic not except out of state Medicaid Medicaid will not even cover this procedure at all since for some crazy reason it’s not fda approved, both hospitals doing fmt require 100% of the procedure paid upfront.

My family is not one to ask for help, and I wouldn’t be if this wasn’t urgent and life threatening, she’s already been through so much after giving birth to a son she was unable to ever bring home, and now this, she deserves a break and she deserves to be here.
She’s a wife and mother and she’s my only daughter.  I understand times are rough right now, no amount is too small, even just prayers and shares are  greatly appreciated.
