Hi, my name is Karla, and my dad's name is Manuel. He has lived and worked in California for 35 years, since he was 16 years old. On September 5, 2025, at 7:00 am, my dad was picking up coffee from a donut shop across the street from his home before heading to work when he was picked up by unmarked vehicles and taken away to a detention center. For two whole days, I had no idea where my dad was or what exactly happened to him. I was terrified and distraught. Finally, I was able to locate him. He is currently being held at the Adelanto detention center, with the possibility of being whisked away to another state or even back to Mexico. With my dad being in this horrible situation, my family and I are working around the clock to get him legal assistance as well as to secure payments for all his bills.

My dad has always been an extremely hard-working and kind person. He is the greatest dad, having put me through school and supported me. He is in no way a criminal and does not deserve to be in this situation. I know he's getting restless staying in there. Please consider donating to help us get my dad out of this nightmare situation.
