Please help my Dad get a liver transplant! ❤️

Hello, my name is Sarah. I made this in hope of helping to save my dad’s life.

My parents, Tonya and Artie Sias, are in their 50’s, have been together 37 years and have spent the last 12 years raising their now teenage grandkids, my nephews (13 & 16). They are good, honest people who need help right now.

A little back story: my dad has been disabled for a long time after a critical back injury that led to years of surgeries, doctors and pain. Before that he was a hardworking master electrician. He was told he’d never make it past 50 without being wheel chair bound. He’s 55 now and still determined to walk. But, then he got sick.

After weeks in the hospital, he learned he needs a full organ liver transplant as soon as possible. He has late stage non-alcoholic liver disease & cirrhosis. We don’t know the cause, he doesn’t exhibit the typical risk factors and doctors haven’t been able to give us answers. With having Medicare insurance and needing the care he needs, I thought I’d turn here for help. He’s medically approved for the organ transplant, but they haven’t approved the financial part. Something this extensive is incredibly expensive and they won’t put him on the list until they know it can be paid for. My mom works so hard but even her good full time job doesn’t leave room for this much extra when maintaining a house, sick husband and her two grandkids these days.

If we can’t pay for the transplant, prescriptions and twice a week appointments to come for a year after surgery, he has about a 65% chance of not making it 3 more months in his current condition.

As a dad and grandpa of 3 boys, he wants to be here to watch the older two graduate and he wants to walk me down the aisle next year. I just want to try to help make that possible. The little boy in the cover photo is my son… I want him to know his grandpa too.
