Please help my Dad fulfil his bucket list!
Over the summer, tragically my Dad at 56 years old, has been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, meaning unfortunately and heartbreakingly, he is not going to get better. He has been given an 18 month expectancy and I would absolutely love for him to do everything and anything that he wishes to do! Life really can be completely and totally unexplainable and unfair!
Dad has been so brave and positive, taking everything in his stride, he really is a hero! He is a wonderful husband, dad, brother, son, uncle, brother-in-law and friend, and has spent the majority of his life serving in the RAF!( The rest of the time on the golf course!) What a man!
He has not asked me to set up this page but, after finding out he wants to buy a camper van and go travelling with my mum (in-between chemo sessions) I felt he really deserved to go. Unfortunately, I'm in no financial situation to help him buy a camper van/mobile home, so I thought I could organise fundraisers and ask if anyone else would like to help him! The target I have set will no way buy a mobile home for him but hopefully it will help him on his way!
If anyone has any ideas of how I can raise any money, please let me know!
