My name is Delana Brown, and I am a single mother of 2 school aged children 6 and 7. In 2022, I was laid off from a job I absolutely loved, and in the process, I lost everything I had worked so hard for. I was slowly starting to rebuild when my marriage became unsafe, and I had to make the difficult decision to flee with my children. Since then, we have been staying with family, and my divorce has recently been finalized.

Right now, my children and I are simply trying to get back on our feet. I am actively seeking new job opportunities while balancing the responsibility of providing for my kids’ basic needs. At this time, I am asking for help with getting the brakes on my car repaired so I can safely transport my children to and from school. We are also in need of assistance with essentials such as groceries and gas.
