Hello, my name is Molly Peterson. I am trying to raise funds for my brother, Stacy Carter. Stacy lost everything in the September 2, 2025 lightning complex fire in Chinese Camp.

On that day, my brother left his home to make sure that myself and many residents of Chinese Camp were safe. He was more concerned with his family and friends than himself and his home.

If you know Stacy, you know that he is a person who would help anyone that needs it, no matter who it is. He is one of the most selfless people I have had the privilege of calling my brother. He is a man of few words, but the love he has for his family, friends, and community shows in his everyday actions.

Stacy was permanently injured by a drunk driver in a horrific head-on collision in the early 2000s, and at age 70, it will be very difficult for him to recover from this devastating fire.

I am asking for donations to try and get enough to replace clothing (he left his home with basically what he had on his back), basic hygiene supplies, and just everyday items you need to survive.
