My brother, Dhruv Nareshbhai Patel, 25 years old from Gujarat, India, has been critically ill for the past three months. He suffered from severe seizures which tragically led to paralysis.
For the last three months, he has not been able to eat or speak, and he is being fed only liquid food through a nasal tube.
The medical expenses have been extremely high — around $80,000 Aud (approx.) has already been spent on his treatment. However, his treatment is still ongoing, and the family is in urgent need of financial help to continue it.

મારા ભાઈ ધ્રુવ નરેશભાઈ પટેલ, ઉંમર 25 વર્ષ, ગુજરાત (ભારત)ના રહેવાસી છે. છેલ્લા ત્રણ મહિનાથી તેઓ ગંભીર રીતે બીમાર છે. તેમને ભારે ખેચ (seizure) આવ્યો હતો જેના કારણે દુર્ભાગ્યવશ તેમને અર્ધાંગવાયુ (paralysis) થઈ ગયો છે. છેલ્લા ત્રણ મહિનાથી તેઓ બોલી શકતા નથી અને કશું ખાઈ પણ શકતા નથી — તેમને માત્ર નાકમાં નળી (nasal tube) દ્વારા પ્રવાહી ખોરાક આપવામાં આવે છે.
તેમની સારવાર માટે અત્યાર સુધીમાં આશરે ₹40 લાખ જેટલો ખર્ચ થઈ ચૂક્યો છે, પણ સારવાર હજી ચાલુ છે અને પરિવાર ખૂબ જ મુશ્કેલીમાં છે.
