Please help my brother David, rollover accident

Hi everyone, my name is Cecilia and on October 4th my little brother David was in a horrific rollover crash which left him with a broken neck and fractured spine. He was rushed into emergency spinal surgery where they found that his C6 and C7 were completely shattered and had punctured his spinal cord in two spots. He also had to have his T7 fused back together.

Right now he is fighting through complications from his surgery in the ICU at Riverbend hospital.

David is a kind, funny, hardworking, and strong 22 year young man with many passions. He loves to find new trails and secret spots to hike and explore in the beautiful PNW as well as making things out of clay, painting, and finding new ways to be creative. If he’s not finding new thrift stores to check out you would probably find him at the skatepark where he spends hours practicing new tricks every single day.

David’s injuries are severe and he has an extremely long hard road to recovery ahead of him. He will require extensive medical treatment including surgery, rehabilitation, and ongoing medical care in this process of getting better.

Our family is grateful for any support you are able to provide and any donation at all will make a difference and help us get the best care for David. Your support will help cover the cost of flying David back to Chicago for extensive rehabilitation and ongoing medical treatment as this will most likely be a lifelong journey.
