Those who know me know exactly how deeply I cherish Blossom, my 8-month-old veiled chameleon.

Recently, she hasn't been herself, and a vet visit revealed a critical issue: she has a buildup of follicles requiring urgent surgery within the next 2-3 weeks.

I’ve lost count of how many times i’ve been told today "She's just a chameleon, get another one." But Blossom is so much more than that. she is my world. She is the most affectionate, loving, and beautiful reptile I've ever known, and I've been around reptiles my entire life.

This surgery is essential to save her life, but the cost is significant and the timeline is tight. Balancing college and a part-time job makes it nearly impossible for me to cover the expenses alone.

Starting a GoFundMe was a last resort. I've always prided myself on being financially independent, but I'm out of options and have nowhere else to turn.
