Hey, I really hate doing this because I'd like to be able to provide for myself and my love onyx.
Unfortunately I'm in a tough situation where I need to pay 905.02 (as a home treatment option) to try and help onyx have a bowel movement. Hoping that it works and I won't be forced to pay 2651.49 for hospitalization.
Dehydrated cause by the constipation, not quite sure yet what is the cause didn't have the funds to do a x-rays or blood work, the vet said it could be a multitude of things, maybe the food I was giving him didn't have enough fiber, could be cause by diabetes or other chronically diseases could be something literally blocking the passage, but she stuck her finger in and said it felt like hard fecal
Right now all I could afford was fluids to hydrate him and laxative to maybe get things moving, but we don't know yet if there is too much to be able to fix the problem just like that. She said my best bet is to come back to get him at least one flushing out to get ride of as much lumps in his stomach as possible and get to do the blood work to rule out anything more serious
Anything helps really
