Hello, my name is Lorna, and I’m the daughter of Jeanne Richardson, 90. Yesterday, we had 60-70 mph dust devil winds that blew off her garage roof. She has been working her whole life to make ends meet and is still working today at 90 years old. She makes $10-12 an hour, 3 days a week. I moved here 2 years ago to be with her and help her out. I went back to work after retiring to help out around here, but between us, we could never come up with the money to replace the garage roof. It’s an old roof and should have been replaced years ago, but she could never afford it. Her insurance on the home dropped her because the mobile was too old. I was on the phone all last week trying to find an insurance company to insure us, but because the mobile home is too old, they refuse to insure us. Of course, this damage is going to happen when we have no insurance.
