My name is April. My 17-year-old son, Ryder, just got diagnosed with osteosarcoma with a 10cm mass on the bottom of his tailbone and just started his first rounds of chemo. He is a very active and social boy that has always dreamed of being in the services. He was misdiagnosed by another city for several months until we were able to get a second opinion at Dallas Children's.

We may have to travel across the country to get his surgery that insurance may not cover because there are only two doctors that can do this surgery. His nerves that control bowel, bladder, mobility, and sexual function could be affected from surgery. Our family is having to travel 2.5 hours back and forth to be with him during his treatment and care. Anything helps and is appreciated during this time, even just prayers. Thank you.
