Orphan Children Eid Clothing
Donation protected
Dear All,
When I started this campaign, the reason was to support our friend and his family. As they are now safe and able to standup again. They would want to repay back the money to needy ones back home.
They have chosen to donate clothes for orphan children who will live their first Eid after the war without their parents and beloved ones.
Thus, Moner and his family are redonating back all the money for the project to buy clothing for 183 child. Currently there are more than 37,000 orphaned children. Each child will receive a clothing voucher of around 40$.
The project will start in 3 weeks and it will target around 183 child. if you or your friends wish to support more orphaned kids to receive Eid clothing, the door is open for donating.
We will notify you once more when we start the distribution of clothing in 3 weeks.
IF you have any objection, please let us know!
Old cause is now terminated and all money is transferred to the orphaned clothing project.
Thanks
My name is Mohammed Diwan,
I am from London and I am writing today to ask for your support to help a brother of mine and his family ( members) to save their lives, unite together and start a new life.
I have known Moner Mohammad since 2008 when he first came to London to study. Since then, he has become part of my family. I don’t recall that we skipped any social and family issues that Moner lived with even when he returned back to help the young generation as a university lecturer, and yet until now .
Moner and his family lost their homes, business, personal belongings, clothes and beyond all, memories and lives of their loved ones during this war ( aunt, cousin, relatives and many others).
While Some members of the family were able to leave and escape from hell, some are still unable to and are living it. The Family is now apart, and sourcing food and even water now to stay alive is a disastrous nightmare for the nephews who are under Moner's responsibility as a new head of the family who are still stuck in Gaza City.
For that, I am trying to help him get the remaining of the family out of Gaza.
In order to facilitate evacuating the family from Gaza to Egypt, I'm setting up a GoFundMe campaign to raise at least GBP 21,750 for the evacuation of the family members. The fund will be utilized to help in different ways including evacuation, housing , education and essential needs. It worth to mention that each person cost GBP 3950 to have his name listed to cross out of Gaza.
At the moment, hunger is an additional suffering and price hiking is going to extreme levels. it cost 1,5 GBP to buy ONE EGG!
It cost GBP 20 for each one KG of wheat.
It cost GBP 10 for one KG of onions.
It cost GBP 20 for one KG of meat
it cost GBP 20 for one chicken!
And above all, the prices are if FOUND! You can't find it.
Here is the breakdown of the funds:
• A total of GBP 21,750 has been allocated to cover the expenses associated with obtaining permits to leave Gaza, as well as crossing fees at Rafah, at the Egypt-Gaza border for 5 family members:
1- Moner’s brother and his family ( Yasmin, Karim, Zaid and Mohsin ) GBP 15, 800
2- Moner's Niece ( Nada ) GBP 3,950
• A total of GBP 495 will be used to cover GoFundMe's transaction fees and transfers, GBP 1500 to cover associated cost.
- Any additional/Extra support will be used to cover essential needs during and after evacuation ( housing, schooling, education etc) .
Every donation, no matter how small, will make a significant difference to the safety of the family. The funds raised will be used transparently and efficiently to ensure that every dollar is spent on ensuring their safety.
Please accept my sincere thanks for your kindness and support, as well as your willingness to stand with us in solidarity, as together, we can make a difference and help my family find safety and security.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
