On November 9, 2022 around 1 a.m., Om Sokfeng Cheang age 61 was walking on foot to work at her seafood shop when a car going northbound struck her on Padgett Switch Rd near Mostellar Medical. She is in pain and has a broken shoulder, broken hip, and broken thigh bone. She underwent surgery and is still recovering. She is a very sweet lady who always walk to pick crab in the early morning hours every day and even the BLB Police officers who know of her takes her to work if they see her walking. On this unfortunate morning, she was doing her daily routine when the horrendous accident occurred. After this ordeal she will require extensive rehab and treatment. She will not be able to work and with medical bills mounting, we want to help her. We are asking everyone to please help donate. Any amount is greatly appreciated and all proceeds will go to her. The community is deeply saddened by this incident.
