Hello my friends. When I started Moo’s Instagram account I never in a million years imagined the loving, caring dog community I would be joining. You all know how precious MooMoo is to me. She is my PTSD Service Dog, my cuddle buddy, my goofball, and the happiest, friendliest dog ever. But she was suddenly VERY sick.

Thursday evening she started acting so strange. Breathing so heavy, full body tremors, vomiting, drooling, and unable to walk. Completely disoriented. We headed to the emergency vet. The wonderful doctor at Horizon Veterinary Specialists ran several tests and her blood panel came back with ZERO white cells, which I was told means sepsis.

They we’re trying to determine what was causing this which meant more tests. Because she was struggling to breathe the doctor wanted to move her to an oxygen cell. When they moved her she had an enormous bleed from her right nostril and the doctor was concerned at that point that it could be cancer. I couldn’t even wrap my head around this.

An X-ray was taken and it showed her lungs were completely filled with blood. She was dying and the doctor told me there was no coming back from this. My whole world shattered. 

There was no way I was going to let my beautiful precious MooMoo suffer and I made the decision to help her fly. I held her close as she left her earthly body behind.

There will never be another like her. Her light shined so bright and she loved every single person and animal and child she met.
