My name is Monique, I'm asking for financial help for my mom, Monica Hill, who is now among those who have been displaced by the recent flood. She has been in her home almost 15 years and lost so much in a matter of minutes. Unfortunately she did not have renters insurance. Although some sentimental items cannot be replaced but my hope is that together we can raise enough funds to help replace a few things that will help her get back on her feet, once her place is restored (which will take up to 2-3 months).

My mom is currently in a hotel until next week. She is registered & is signed up with every agency there is, offering assistance but it is a process, that will take time.
