Hi, my name is Katrina and l am helping my friend Sahar and her son Moataz who is just 17 years old.

Motaz is the sole provider now for 10 family members. They have received no charity donations through the entire genocide in Gaza, which has lasted now for over 600 days. Moataz has resorted to going for aid at the notorious GHF (Gaza Humanitarian Foundation) and faces being shot at or gassed with every attempt to bring a few essentials home to their tent in Khan Younis. He was recently crushed and sustained injuries during an aid run and returned empty handed. I'm hoping to be able to raise funds for food, water, sanitary items and fire wood. I'm hoping that with donations raised Moataz will remain safe and able to provide for his family.

Here is moataz story in his own words.

My name is Moataz Abu Shabeika. I used to live in Tal Al-Sultan neighborhood in Rafah. We left Rafah about four months ago after the truces ended and the tanks were next to us. We left without anything. We saw death right in front of our eyes. My family consists of 10 people. My father's name is Sobhi. He is 58 years old. He is retired from the Palestinian Authority in Ramallah. He has diabetes and heart disease. My mother's name is Sahar. She is 48 years old and she does not work. We have been displaced three times. We now live in the Mawasi area of Khan Younis in the Al-Salam neighborhood camp. We live in very difficult conditions because of the closure of the crossings. Life is very expensive for us. I was a student at Fathi Al-Shaqaqi School in the tenth grade. I spent a year and a half studying there. I was an excellent student and I want you to stand by me. I need money to live a decent life in the Gaza Strip. Please help me. I desperately need you to stand by me.
