Hello everyone,

My name is Bie, and this is a picture of my best friend, Mimy. She’s all I have left after losing my mom to cancer—and she’s also lost her mom to cancer. Since then, it’s been just the two of us, grateful to have a place to stay and the strength to keep going, even when times have been tough.

Mimy recently underwent a costly surgery to remove two large bladder stones and to be spayed. I used all of my savings to make sure she could live her best life. Not long after, I raised concerns with our primary vet about a small lump on her belly, but it was dismissed. Two months later, that lump has grown from smaller than a pea to the size of a golf ball. Now, it’s become a race against time.

I pushed for a re-evaluation, and Mimy has since been referred to a specialist for urgent removal and reconstructive surgery. The location of the lump makes the procedure both complex and critical. After a consultation, the upfront cost was quoted at $4,000.

I had previously used CareCredit to help save another dog, so it's no longer available to me.

Mimy is one of the best reasons I have to come home. The house feels alive with her in it. Even on my darkest days, she turns things around—following me from room to room, reminding me that I still have purpose. She is my most beloved friend and my greatest source of joy in the hardest times.

Anything helps, and if I can reach even a halfway goal, I’m doing everything I can to gather the rest of the funds.

This procedure will cover:

Mass removal

Reconstructive surgery

Lab testing for cancer

Pre- and post-surgery boarding and care

After losing so much already, I don’t want to live with one more regret. So I’m pleading—please help me give her a chance, rather than none at all. Whatever amount we’re able to raise, I will find a way to cover the rest.
