Hi everyone, I'm Kyla, Milo's mom and I wouldn't ask for this unless absolutely necessary. Milo has torn his CCL and meniscus (his cruciate ligament) that requires surgery in the new year.
 He first tore it beginning of December and we thought we were able to manage it with rest and pain medication, management, but it is not improving. He’s been in pain, and it breaks my heart seeing him struggle with something as simple as walking, playing, or being his happy, goofy self.
 Anyone who knows Milo knows he’s more than just a dog to me — he’s family, my comfort, my best friend, and a constant source of unconditional love. Unfortunately, the cost of his surgery and recovery is more than I can manage on my own. I would do absolutely anything for him, and I’m doing my best — but I could really use some support. I’ve already spent a portion of money on Physio appointments, pain, medication, and x-rays trying to make him as comfortable as I can in this time. Although surgery was our last option, I do believe it’s his very best option at getting back to his life full of activity and adventure. I want to be able to give him the life he deserves, hiking, swimming, running as much as he wants and prolong his life as much as I can.
He's already lost a bit of muscle mass and I’m worried he’s going to be overworking his other good back leg.
 I'll be forever grateful for any help for my sweet boy we all know and love, he means the world to me and we've both been pretty sad to not see him at his full potential.
