Please help Mike & Mel rebuild their home

Hi, my name is Tanya, and I am fundraising for our friends Mike and Melissa Replogle (AKA Mitch Ripper). At 3:30AM last night, those howling winds took down 2 pine trees. 1 of them went right into their house. Taking down with it, the gas line and the powerline. They are not allowed in the house until the gas line is fixed, and then Edison will come in and fix the powerlines. Both of their vehicles are trapped on the other side of the trees. And the kicker to all of this—the homeowners insurance on the house that was being maintained by a beloved family member, was canceled without their knowing.

Mike and Melissa have eight children, three dogs, and two cats. Some of you may have been out to the shows Lightning Dan & the Crawdads were having at Mike’s house. He is the bass player in our band and a dear friend. Our hearts are breaking for them this Thanksgiving morning.

I’d like to start with a goal to raise $5000, but supplies to fix their house are probably going to cost about $20,000. We are reaching out to the Red Cross to see how they can help, hopefully at least getting them in a place to stay.
