Mike DeGrasse is a 35-year-old loving husband to Tiffany and an amazing dad to their 3 children – Jordan (5), Adelaide (3), and Rory (8 months).

In February of 2021, after almost 5 years of scans showing no evidence of disease, Mike received the devasting news his cancer had returned as Stage IV metastatic melanoma. This past year has consisted of Mike being sick more often than not, countless doctor/hospital visits, immunotherapy, and several target drug combos, all which were sadly ineffective. Scans showing further growth turned Mike’s condition to critical very quickly.

Anyone that knows Mike and Tiffany personally will know they are planners. They make a plan, stick to it, and more often than not, they are successful at it. However, this time around their plan requires outside help which they are both very reluctant to ask for. Mike and Tiffany’s only viable course of action is a treatment known as IL-2. This will require Mike to have in-patient stays at the hospital where he is currently. This treatment will make it necessary for both Mike and Tiffany to be out of work. Tiffany needs to concentrate only on caring for Mike and their family. This will leave them in a place of uncertainty and under financial burden, worries they shouldn’t have during this difficult time. They are both just genuinely the best people and the first ones to always offer help to others. The treatment goal is to get Mike back home to Tiffany and their family, doing things he loves like going to Jordan and Addie’s baseball and soccer games, golfing, and watching Rory grow like a weed.
