Please help Michelle Davis with her life saving surgery
Donation protected
Hi my name is Craig Davis and I am reaching out on behalf of my sister-in-law Michelle Davis who is currently facing a serious life-threatening medical challenge.
Recently Michelle was diagnosed with a critical medical condition that will require life saving surgery. Michelle will have to undergo 2 major surgeries as she is facing heart and lung failure. It's a very serious condition that has not only been physically and emotionally overwhelming but also financially impactful. Over the past several months costs for medical supplies and life saving medications are quickly mounting and unfortunately insurance only covers a portion of the expenses. Michelle will have to be medically transported from Winnipeg to Toronto for tests and ultimately the main life-saving surgery. It is anticipated that she will have to spend upwards of a month in hospital in Toronto after the surgery for recovery and rehabilitation and may have to return for follow-up visits with specialists.
Michelle is an absolutely wonderful person and throughout her life has been a beacon of hope and strength. She always cares for others needs over her own. To compound the unimaginable stress she is currently facing, she has also lived with a condition called Hydrocephalus which was diagnosed at birth. Michelle has had over 90 surgeries and procedures in relation to this condition. Yes over 90. She is one of a few people in the world with her unique condition and she is well documented at the Mayo clinic in the United States with volumes of medical charts. This is almost unfathomable to have endured such trauma and emotional distress as a child and now adult, but to this day she remains one of the most caring and selfless people I have ever met.
Michelle was born and raised in Winnipeg and is married to the love of her life Scott and has two wonderful children Reid 15yrs old and Jaxxon 13yrs old. She loves supporting and watching her boys play sports and is a rabid Montreal Canadians fan and hopes to see a game one day in Montreal when she gets better. No matter how difficult her days have been she always puts her family above her own needs. Now Michelle needs our help to be there for her.
Were asking for your help to raise funds to allow Michelle to get her surgeries and concentrate on recovery and healing and not the financial burden her family would be facing. Every donation no matter the size brings us closer to helping Michelle focus on healing and bringing her home back to her loving family.
Please consider sharing her story and this page in your network. Your support means the world to Michelle and her family.
