Please Help Meredith with Argo's Surgery

All of you know how much my sister LOVES her dogs. She would do anything for them. Argo, her 7-year-old German Shepherd, the son of her beloved Ryker and Bella, suffered a debilitating injury to his back on Friday, January 22, 2021, while playing outside. We took him to the Carolina Veterinary Specialists in Winston-Salem early Saturday morning as he was unable to bear any weight on his hind legs. He stayed there until Sunday afternoon and received care and evaluation as to his injury. Dr. Shelley Johnson recommended he be seen by a Neurologist, undergo an MRI, and most likely back surgery. With this treatment, he has a 90% chance of a full recovery. As of today, we have paid close to $2000 for his care, and the MRI alone will be an additional $3000 -$3500. Surgery and aftercare are estimated to cost an additional $3500-$6000 (we won't know exactly until the MRI is done).
My sister has recently been dealing with a lot financially as many of you know, including an almost one-year legal battle to sell the house she owns with her ex in Plano, TX. Because of his unwillingness to fairly divide the equity of the house, Meredith was forced to move and relocated to North Carolina in December. The move was very financially stressful. To top things off, she is still having to pay the mortgage in Plano until the house is sold. COVID has dramatically impacted her income, although she continues to generously help her young adult children with living and college expenses and anyone else who needs a helping hand.
Now, we need to help her even though she would NEVER ask. Until the legal battle over her house is finalized and the house is sold, she does not have the money to provide Argo with the help he needs. His situation cannot wait the months it might take for her to be able to pay for the MRI and surgery. Please help her as all of you know she loves her dogs so very much and this situation is causing her so much pain and difficulty. I am doing this for her, for Argo, because they need our help during this time. Thank you so much!
