Please help Melvin and Chase Dutton
Chase is a 10 year old border collie that had a spinal cord injury on May 11th. He is owned by Melvin Dutton, a well known and beloved Chester County horse trainer and would go to the barn with him daily. I donated my time and Magnawaved Chase daily. Dr. Cindy Buchanan also stepped in and made recommendations in order to help him improve, at no charge. And Angela Sasso loaned Chase a mobility cart.
Thanks to generous donations he was able to go to the wonderful rehabilitation program at West Chester Veterinary Medical Center, run by Dr. Carrie Woodcock and her team. When he was dropped off he was just starting to try to stand on his own and wag his tail. After 2 weeks of hard work Chase was standing and taking steps on his own! However last Friday he contracted a kidney infection and needed to be hospitalized. The money set aside for his rehab program has quickly disappeared due to additional tests, procedures, x-rays and 24/7 care. He is on the mend however the expenses incurred are far too much for Melvin to afford. We are kindly and graciously asking for donations in order for Chase to complete his rehabilitation program and go back to his life with Melvin.
All money will go toward his hospitalization bills and his continued rehab program.
Thank you all!
Melvin and Chase Dutton
