I am starting this GoFundMe for my daughter, Melissa Acaya Bernardo. She was diagnosed with stage one ovarian cancer, and on September 10, 2024, she underwent a complete hysterectomy. The doctors have recommended that she undergo chemotherapy. Today was her first chemotherapy session.

The costs for her chemotherapy medications and hospitalization are very high. All her health insurance benefits have been exhausted, and she now has to pay out of pocket.
