Please Help Melanie Heineken

Hi Everyone: My name is Lyn Heineken and I am writing this on behalf of my younger sister, Melanie Heineken. On the afternoon of April 17th, I got a phone call that Melanie was involved in a horrific single-car accident in Kentucky. She was ejected from a vehicle that flipped over a guard rail. There were no drugs or alcohol involved. She was airlifted to a hospital in Ohio and has been in critical condition since that day. Melanie has many broken bones all over her face and body but luckily, as far as we know, she does not have brain damage. She is slowly improving day by day, and starting to talk a little, but as the doctors have said, this is going to be an extremely long road for Melanie's rehabilitation and recovery. My sister had just started a brand new, exciting managerial job at a retail store in Lexington and she had just moved into a new apartment the week before the accident. With this new job, she had to wait a trial period of 90 days for her insurance benefits to start and sadly, the horrible accident occurred two weeks before the start date. Melanie has been such an advocate for her community while managing Kohls and Walmart and she loves to spearhead volunteer groups to help people in need. She now desperately needs everyone's help and prayers. Melanie will most likely be out of work for a very long time and will have gigantic medical bills. I would love for her to have the ability to heal her body and mind and not have to worry about the financial burden from this life-changing accident. Please help her get through this very difficult time in her life. She is such a sweet person and needs your positive, healing energy and prayers. My whole family appreciates your love for Melanie. If you are so inclined, feel free to share this - especially the Salisbury, MD and Georgetown, KY friends.
