Please help me & Ziggy go home to New Zealand

Hello - my name is Clare & my dog's name is Ziggy. Due to mental health reasons I need to move back to New Zealand (where I am a citizen) as soon as possible. I currently live in Melbourne, Australia and because I am not a citizen here - I am not entitled to any help from the government (Centrelink, NDIS etc). I am unable to find foster care for Ziggy in Victoria and I am unable to find a house for us to live that accepts dogs. And believe me when I say, that I have tried every possible option to stay in Australia. None of my friends are able to help with homing Ziggy as they either have their own pets or live in apartments that do not accept pets or have any outdoor areas. All animal rescues I have tried arent accepting any surrenders and do not have the foster carers to cope with the animals they do have. We are now facing homelessness and need to get home to New Zealand where I will have support from the government, and the small family that I have there in my home town of Oamaru in the south island (population around 14,000).

The money I need is to fly Ziggy back to NZ which will cost around $2,500 plus some money to pay for my flight home as well. We moved to Australia in May 2022 and I used Move My Pet (a company based in Christchurch NZ) which I will be using again as they provided an exceptional service. I am currently obtaining a new quote from them for the exact cost that I will post as soon as it is received.

The main reason I am needing this money is so that I dont have to put Ziggy down. I was unable to have children and therefore Ziggy is considered my child who I desperately dont want to give up or put down. Any help, big or small is very welcome. Happy to answer any questions you may have also
