Please Help Me With The Battle for My Life! 

My name is Alfonso Williams. 
I am the husband of my best friend Tracey (happily married for 24 years), a father of 5, and grandfather of 5. We reside in a small town in Maryland. I was recently diagnosed with osteomyelitis causing partial amputation of part of a foot to save my life. Now I can use prayer and financial support in the fight for my life.

How it all started: just a few weeks ago, I acquired a diabetic ulcer that caused a callous on my foot. Meanwhile, I began to develop a fever, chills, vomiting, and a poor appetite while unaware that the callous was the root cause.

Eventually the symptoms got so bad that I was rushed to the hospital to find the callous had become infected causing osteomyelitis (an infection of the bone).  This resulted in my having to get part of my foot amputated.  

On top of this, the osteomyelitis infection also spread throughout my entire body via my blood into my heart, lungs, kidneys, and all major organs.  Needless to say, this has wreaked great havoc on my health.

My heart also acquired a mass and (per the Doctors) has became 80-90% blocked.  I am currently at the hospital receiving antibiotics via IV 24/7 fighting to stay alive and to keep this from turning into sepsis.

This has caused our whole world to be shaken as a couple and family.  The financial costs we have faced have been staggering up to this point, and the road to recovery is not over yet.  We are currently looking at all options of any other medical intervention despite the costs (which we have yet to know the full scope of), and will do whatever it takes to save my life. 

Your financial support will go towards: 1) Ongoing treatment to fight Osteomyelitis. 2) Heart Surgery (bypass likely). 3) Treatment of other major organs affected.

A further update will be provided as to my health and financial needs as we continue to do everything possible to work towards a path of recovery.  We have not given up hope, nor will we give up without a fight, but will continue to trust God.  Thank you to everyone who will come along side of us to fight with us.
