Wow everyone! This is tough! I'm not one to ask for anything from anyone, but right now I need help.

As many of you know, I've been sick for some time. After having cancer in 2010, my body, especially my lungs, has gotten progressively weaker. In May, my doctors discovered that somehow, somewhere, I managed to breathe in a fungus spore. Since I'm already immunocompromised, this spore settled in my lungs and made its way into my bloodstream. For the last 5 months, we have been trying to fight this. My body did not handle the medications well. They've just continued to make me weaker and weaker. On October 28th, I met with my doctor and was told that there's nothing else that they can do.

I'm currently on comfort care (palliative care). No other treatment will be done.

The infection will take anywhere from weeks to a few months to spread, likely affecting my lungs first, but also possibly my liver, brain, and other organs.

Because I've had autoimmune disorders since I was 16 and over the years my health has slowly gotten worse and worse, I've never been able to qualify for life insurance. So now I'll be leaving my kids with nothing to cover the final costs.

I'm asking for help covering cremation costs so that while I decline, I can spend time with my little family and not have to worry about them coming up with money. I want to have everything arranged so that this is at least that little bit easier. I don't know how I could have planned any differently to have any money saved. There's always been medical cost after medical cost as far back as I can remember.

If anyone can donate anything to help, I would really, really appreciate it. Everyone is struggling right now, it's close to Christmas, I know. But I have to try. I don't want to leave a giant bill. I appreciate all of you, and if you're reading this, I thank you.
