Hi my name is Brodrick McAfee, your average 49 yr old guy. It seems like ever since I turned forty-nine I've been falling apart. Well April 21st I started to suffer a stroke. But really didn't know because my blood pressure was not high. I woke up Thursday afternoon with more symptoms, and did seek medical attention at my local hospital emergency room.  They went through they're stroke protocol (CAT Scan) and all.  I was sent home with a diagnosis of a pinched nerve.... I'm thinking to myself that doesn't address my slurred speech or bum leg. Feeling worse Saturday, my brother convinced me to return to the emergency room. That day the doctor  said" yes, you had a stroke or are having a stroke".Since then I have been transferred to a hospital with an inpatient rehab unit. I'm making some progress day by day.  I have filed for short -term disability from my job (which we are considered essential... We make cheese) but my claim haven't been processed as of yet as I write this .My anticipated discharge date is May 28. I do live alone so I'm trying to raise money to help me pay for back rent, a hospital bed, also all medical supplies needed to be able to safely and comfortably take care of myself.  Thank you and may The Almighty continue to bless you.
