Update: for the last 3 months Beverly has been in and out of ICU. She’s gotten better but always seems to take a step back. Her body tired of fighting. Kendra has decided to make Bev a DNR. Kendra has been by Beverly’s side through the entire ordeal. Putting her own health aside to care for her mother 24/7. 

I have never met a tighter, stronger bond of a mother and daughter than these two. No love greater ❤️

Kendra is going to need help, I am asking once again to assist me in helping with expenses for the funeral as well as her hospital bills. 

Kendra and Beverly are so dear to me, I love them so much. They do not deserve all of this.

Friends… this is Erin Spence. I am a RN at a local hospital and this post is for a very special person I befriended during my years working in a specialty unit. Beverly Fenner ( I received permission to make this account) is a very special lady that has survived cancer, and due to chemotherapy and radiation her liver was damaged. She has undergone a paracentesis (procedure where they remove fluid built up around the liver) every 2 weeks for many years. This is a painful but necessary. Beverly underwent a procedure that helps the fluid drain from the abdomen not requiring the paracentesis.

Beverly had this done and became encephalitic and required another icu stay. She was stable and sent home where she began to throw up blood. She has now been in ICU for several weeks. Her daughter Kendra and Beverly are so very close. Kendra is disabled as well and she is having to stay at a hotel and take Ubers to and from the hospital to stay with her mother.

expenses are extremely tight as they are both on disability and social security and Kendra is fearing she won’t be able to stay with her mother, she is having problems affording her own life saving medications as well as food, and the hospital expenses.

please help me to help them. They are the kindest most grateful humans I have ever met in my life. They are near and dear to me. If you can help even a little it would be so appreciated.
