Please help me to help Pixie

Hi

I can’t believe I am having to do this but on the urging of some friends here goes.

Pixie is the light in my life. I truly don’t know what I would do without her.

she started vomiting yesterday lunch time. I thought she had rated something like the cats breakfast that didn’t agree with her.

then she started having diarrhoea.

this continued through the night until at 3am she stated hemorrhaging out of her bottom.

I raced her to the JCU Vet and they said because of the amount of blood she had lost she had to come in and be put on a drip and given pain medication and anti nausea medication.

I can’t believe I am having to do this but on the urging of two friends I am putting up the white flag and asking for help.

with having to move and the costs associated with that I have nothing left to my name.

I stupidly booked a holiday for the first time in my life 4 months ago before knowing we have to move.

and now this crisis.

The vet was lovely and said because of Pixies size (2.1kg) they can go downhill very quickly.

she has estimated that her costs are going to be about $3k.

I just burst into tears.

Eli has borrowed the $509 deposit from a loan from his father at 3.30am (not a phone call he wanted to make) but we had no choice.

Pixie has been my constant shadow and support for everything in the last 7 years.

she has touched so many people.

I owe it to her to give her the very. best care I can.

I hate to ask but I really need help.
